LTB: Far From Bar Food

Lions & Tigers & Beers...OH MY their food will knock your ruby red slippers right off! Don't be fooled - this Downtown Wyandotte staple is much more than a bar.  If you're looking to grab some grub while scoring some awesome daily drink specials, follow the yellow brick road (aka Biddle) right to LTB's.  The menu has plenty of options for the health conscious foodies out there, so you're guaranteed to find a dish that will become your new favorite.  Here's the deal - for the entire month of April when you dine in at LTB's (I recommend the dishes below) print out a copy of this page or have it on your phone to show your server and mention the Downriver Dish Deal to receive 10% off your bill!

Healthier Options (and tips on ordering the healthiest way):
Starters:
Shrimp Cocktail
Potato Skins - ask for no bacon and light on the cheese (really do it up with diced tomatoes and chives!)
Wicked Green Chili - with pork
Ruby Red Chili - with beef

Salads:
Garden Salad - minus croutons
Almond Chicken Salad - minus dried cherries
Greek Salad
Fresh Spinach Salad - minus bacon
Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad - light on the cheese and no tortilla crisps

Sandwiches:
Turkey and Avocado - on whole wheat
Toto's Turkey - on whole wheat
Grilled Salmon - on whole wheat or a wrap
Herb Chicken
Blackened Salmon/Chicken
*Opt for mustard, dill mustard, or a vinaigrette in place of mayo or any cream based dressings (ranch, bleu cheese, thousand island, etc.)

Entrees:
North Atlantic Salmon (a personal favorite!)
Blackened Ahi Tuna
Lemon Herb Chicken
Spring Chicken
Mediterranean Pasta (pictured above)
*order a baked potato instead of mashed and always choose veggies for the side!

Paninis:
Pete's Panini
Garden Panini
*order on whole wheat if possible

Flat Bread Pizzas:
Spinach Mushroom Gorgonzola
Margherita
Wild Mushroom
*opt for any of the veggie loaded pizzas (there's a ton and they're all delicious!)
*ask for them to go light on the cheese if you're looking for ways to cut calories and still pack nutrients from all the veggies!

This is a small sampling of all their dishes - view the whole menu before you head over so you can decide what you're going to order ahead of time (good way to avoid impulsive ordering)!

LTB's is also participating in the 2012 Metro Detroit Heart Walk to raise money for the American Heart Association.  So bring an extra dollar (or a few) and buy a paper heart to take a stand against heart disease!

Catch The Wizard of Oz showing on at least one of their flat screen TV's at all times:
We're Off to See the Wizard - Dorothy, The Tin Man, & The Scarcrow
